If you want more information about a professional residential home inspection in Houston, contact Wiser Property Inspections.
David Wiser majored in Architecture at the University of Kentucky and has made Fort Bend County his home for the past 30 years. Summers and weekends during his college years were spent in residential and small commercial construction which supplemented building design & theory with practical experience.
After college, employment in SW Houston/Sugar Land has allowed Mr. Wiser to expand his knowledge base by introducing him to proper installation and assembly practices for a wide range of thermoplastic piping systems (PVC, CPVC, and FRP etc.), electrical controls and electrical power up to 600 volts and rotating equipment such as compressors, air blowers and pumps. All these were routinely incorporated into specification-driven custom process packages for small municipal water plants, offshore facilities and large nuclear & conventional power plants. Many of these packages exceeded $1MM US.
As Project Manager, Mr. Wiser’s knowledge of the above-mentioned products allowed him to specify the right components for each package. This resulted in on-time deliveries and satisfied customers. In fact, one project in 2007 which was managed by Mr. Wiser and destined for a major engineering firm in Mumbai India was awarded the top US vendor!
During his spare time, Mr. Wiser enjoys volunteering in the community. This activity resulted in him inspecting many homes across Ft. Bend County over a 10-year period. In 2008, he decided the next natural step was to obtain an Inspector’s License from TREC. Six months later after completing about 450 hours of required classroom education and a field experience training module he was allowed to take the state exam to become a Professional Inspector. His score of 87 easily met the minimum requirements for licensing.
